My daughter loves, loves this book. She read it in H.S. and fell in love with it. She's got 3 book copes, has the kindle and the audio book--She also gives the book as presents. I got me the kindle because she kept bugging me to read it including that he's from the same city I am.It was an easy read, first person point of view, and it was very good. Zach sure got dealt a bad hand, but I love his point of view. Even though he was 18, it was like he was 12, so innocent. Growing up in a dysfunctional family like him, it sure hit home. I even had a dream about my childhood.I felt bad for a lot of the characters in the book, Rafael had it bad too.I feel anyone who has a substance abuse problem, or comes from a dysfunctional family can really relate to the characters, and know there's hope for them out there. This should be a must read in schools.
